Christmas Caroling

On December 22nd, the Black River FFA Chapter helped to spread the holiday cheer throughout St. Patrick’s Manor in Wellington. Residents enjoyed the company and entertainment of the FFA members singing Christmas carols. In addition to the caroling, FFA members and residents had the chance to visit and share their favorite Christmas traditions and memories. The chapter provided Christmas cards, homemade cookies to share and left boxes of fruit for the residents to take back to their rooms.

This event is a long standing tradition of the Black River FFA Chapter. Following the St. Patrick’s visit, the FFA members went to East of Chicago and enjoyed time together while celebrating the festivities. After everyone enjoyed a good meal, FFA members bonded by playing games and preparing for their Christmas break.

The members that attended were Callee Aviles, Cori Aviles, Eric Cordonnier, Hayley Rickey, Kyler Foster, Russell Schultz, Breanna Clifford, Hannah Abfall, Mya Kunsman, Zoe Kunsman, Jonathan Herb, Anna Shearer, Maddie O’Farrlley, Chloee, Rylee, Peter and Mrs. Howard and Mr. Wolff. The Black River FFA Chapter would like to thank St. Patrick’s Manor for allowing the chapter for the opportunity to visit with the residents!
