Quiz" There will be a data gathering during this week based on the OST. Question: How does the voting ballot really give you the best of both worlds? In other word, how does it help you break and control the problem of factions (Federalist Paper #10) and help you to peaceably assemble (1st amendment)?
Cite both the Federalist Paper #10 and the 1st amendment.   Cite with a quote from the federalists papers - “By a faction, I understand a number of citizens, whether amounting to a majority or a minority of the whole, who are united and actuated by some common impulse of passion, or of interest, adversed to the rights of other citizens, or to the permanent and aggregate interests of the community” (Federalists Paper #10). And/or - “Among the numerous advantages promised by a well-constructed Union, none deserves to be more accurately developed than its tendency to break and control the violence of faction” (Federalists Paper #10).  Address this point - You can hear what two groups have to say without breaking into factions and getting violent. You can do so by peaceably assembling due to the voting ballot.
Cite from the 1st amendment- “the right of the people peaceably to assemble” (1st amendment).   Additionally: please describe the meaning and significance of the 15th, 19th and 26th amendments plus explain a common topic or thread they all commonly share.
