Mrs. Durden- Fourth Grade

Biography

Welcome to fourth grade at Black River Elementary! This is my twentieth year of teaching at Black River. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree for elementary education (K-8) from the University of Akron. I also have a reading endorsement certificate (K-12). I received my Master's degree in education, with a specialization in elementary reading and literacy, from Walden University. I have a son who is in second grade.  In my spare time I read, write poetry, and enjoy family time.

I will be your child’s teacher for all subjects.  Mrs. Lewis will also be in our classroom during writing time.  Mrs. Workinger will help in our classroom too.  The best way to reach me is through email.  My email address is [email protected].

Social Studies
