Bullying Summary Reported Incidents.
Pursuant to House Bill 276, Ohio School
districts are required to semiannually post the number of reported bullying and
harassment incidents that occur throughout their district. Below are the reports
for the Black River Local Schools
R.C. 3313.66 defines
harassment, intimidation or bullying as intentional written, verbal, or
physical acts that a student has exhibited toward another particular student or
group of students more than once and the behavior both:
1. Causes mental or
physical harm to the other student or group of students; and
2. Is sufficiently severe, persistent, or pervasive that it creates an
intimidating,
threatening, or abusive educational environment for the other student or
students
Ohio law requires school districts to provide a written summary of reported incidents of harassment, intimidation, and bullying, and to post the report on the school district's website. Accordingly, the Black River Local Schools District reports that it received the following number of alleged incidents of harassment, intimidation, and bullying during the 2017-2018 School year.
