I was born and raised in Boardman, Ohio, a suburb of Youngstown.  After choosing to take German in high school because of my German heritage, I learned that I love the language and eventually chose to make a career out of sharing that love for German with others.  As my career progressed, I found an opportunity to explore a new challenge, biomedical science.  I have always been intrigued by science, so I am grateful to have had the opportunity to complete training so that I could add biomedical science classes to my teaching schedule. My wife and I have two children (a girl and a boy) and live in Medina.  I love to spend time with family and friends and really enjoy playing golf.

About Me
I am a certified German & Biomedical Science teacher who has taught high school German I-IV since the 2007-2008 school year and biomedical science beginning with the 2022-2023 school year.  Prior to 2007-2008, I taught German at the middle and elementary school levels.
