I started my teaching career at Black River in 2015.  I initially served as an online education teacher, and currently as a health, physical education and weightlifting teacher.  Prior to coming to Black River, I was a secondary physical education teacher at Monroeville and Galion schools.  I’m also the head varsity football coach at Mapleton Local Schools.  I’m very fortunate to have the opportunity to have a positive impact on young people in multiple districts.  I transferred to Black River in 1998 from Northwestern High School, graduating in 1999.  Black River has had a special place in my heart ever since.  I enjoy reading biographies, weight lifting and spending time with my family.
