Ms. Zatezalo - Intervention Specialist

English Language Arts Class Banner Image
This will be another great year at Black River High School. I am an Intervention Specialist currently teaching with Ms. Casteel in English 9 and Mrs. Dieter in English 10.  In addition to inclusion classes I also teach Resource English 9/10 and a Study Skills course. Please use the links on my page to access important information. I look forward to working with you and your child in the upcoming year.

About Me:
I grew up in Brunswick, Ohio and graduated from Brunswick High School in 2000. I currently spend my winters at Brandywine Ski Resort where I teach skiing to people of all ages and abilities. In the summer you can find me at various Cedar Point owned amusement parks with my brother and cousins or volunteering at the Cleveland Zoo. I also coach and volunteer for various Special Olympic sports.

I earned my Bachelors of Science from the University of Akron as an Intervention Specialist Mild/Moderate.

I started teaching at BRHS in 2015.

I became a Special Education teacher because I have a brother who is autistic and I wanted to be a person who could help others like him be prepared for life after high school.

I would like students to remember me and say I supported them when they needed it and pushed them to reach their goals.
I can be reached at 419-736-3303 Ext. 505 or email [email protected]
Please leave a e-mail or voicemail and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

I'm available at:
7:00 a.m. - 7:20
 2:15-2:45 p.m.
