Black River Local Schools Use of ESSER Funds

As many of you are aware, the Federal Government has passed several pieces of legislation since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic which directs additional funding toward schools for use in targeted areas. The American Rescue Plan (ARP), signed into law in March 2021, provided $122 billion for the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) Fund. It is important that we share these important updates with our families and community. We are excited for the many unique opportunities that will come from this funding and remain dedicated to providing ongoing communication as projects and initiatives come to fruition.
