On May 3, 2022, the Black River Local Schools will have a renewal levy on the Ballot. This is an opportunity to renew the 5 Year Emergency Operating levy that the community has previously passed. This renewal will generate 1.6 Million in dollars for the district yearly, which is approximately 12% of our Districts Annual budget. Since the inception of this Emergency Levy the district has been able to operate and not ask the community for extra funds. We have been able to maintain small class sizes and worked to promote more student classes in all grade levels.
