Black River Transporation Updates

Due to newly enrolled students and necessary last minute route changes, several bus routes have been modified.  The letter you received in the mail with bus route times may not be accurate.  Therefore, we are asking that you be ready up to 15 minutes either way of the times listed on the letter. 

Bus #9 Elementary Afternoon route was completed changed as a result of an unforeseen situation.  Mrs. Miller is the driver.

Please check with the bus drivers at the District Open House on Monday August 26th from 5 – 7 in the Black River Education Center cafeteria.  Staff will be available to confirm pickup and drop off times for students.

Black River Local School District Joins Harvard’s National Center for Rural Education Research Networks

Black River Local Schools joins 50 rural schools as a part of the National Center for Rural Education Research Networks (NCRERN), an initiative of the Center for Education Policy Research (CEPR) at Harvard University. Funded by the Institute of Education Sciences at the U.S. Department of Education, Black River Local Schools will have the opportunity to apply the Proving Ground model of evidence-based improvement to address chronic absenteeism, college readiness and college enrollment.
