FCCLA

The Black River High School was awarded the Ohio FCCLA Go for the Red Award, 1st Place Chapter Service Hour Award, the outstanding chapter award, a state outreach award, the community service and families first national program award, the top 10 FACTS award, and first place in the state and nation for the stand up and student body national program.

Lacie Rice earned her state degree, 2nd place in state service hours, and was awarded a $500 Ohio FCCLA endowment scholarship. 

Congrats to Liz Gilmore for participating in the Grilled Cheese challenge with her buffalo chicken grilled cheese!

Josh Adkins, Gabby Bright, Abby Demczyk, Kate Dieter, Remi Dieter, Liz Gilmore, Anya Koberna, Brock Martin, and Adalyn Roberts were all awarded their Power of One.

We are excited to announce that the following projects have qualified for the national leadership conference in Orlando, Florida.

Lastly, we are excited to announce that two of our chapter members Brock Martin and Abby Demczyk have been elected to the 2025-2026 State Executive Council. Abby will be serving as the Vice President of Community Service and will be serving as the Vice President of Public Relations!
