Four members of the Black River FFA Chapter—Rylee Howard, Carlee Mennell, Caleb
Howard, and Aidan Sas—recently returned from an unforgettable week at Ohio FFA
Camp Muskingum, often referred to as the “happiest place on dirt.”
Throughout the week, students had the opportunity to connect with FFA members from
across the state while participating in a wide variety of activities. Campers enjoyed
athletic tournaments, waterfront adventures such as kayaking and fishing, and gained
hands-on experience in shooting sports including shotgun, rifle, and archery. In addition
to the recreational opportunities, students engaged in leadership development
workshops led by the 2025 Ohio FFA State Officer Team.
The Black River FFA Chapter extends its sincere appreciation to the Ohio Medina
County Farm Bureau for sponsoring this meaningful experience. Thanks to their
support, students were able to grow as leaders and build lifelong memories.
