CDE

Six talented members of the Black River FFA Chapter proudly represented our school at the District Job Interview Career Development Event held at Smithville High School. This event challenged students to showcase their professionalism by preparing a résumé and cover letter, completing an application, assembling a portfolio, interviewing with a company representative, and writing a follow-up thank-you letter.

Our members achieved outstanding results:

Serina Dearth – 1st place (8th Grade Division)

Caleb Howard – 2nd place (Freshman Division)

Rylee Howard – 3rd place (Sophomore Division)

Addison Flynn – 1st place (Junior Division)

Hailey Lambdin – 4th place (Senior Division)

Rose Wingard – 1st place (First-Year Senior Division)

Congratulations to all of these students for their hard work, professionalism, and dedication to excellence! Their efforts not only earned them recognition but also valuable career-readiness skills for their futures.

Best of luck to Addison Flynn and Rose Wingard as they advance to the State Competition!
