Great news for the summer months — the Ohio Summer EBT/SUN Bucks program is here to help!
Eligible families can receive $120 per child to help cover grocery costs while school is out. 
Kids already receiving state benefits or enrolled in free or reduced-price school meals are automatically enrolled.

If your household already participates in Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) or Ohio Works First (OWF), or your student is approved by your school for free and reduced-priced meals through direct application, your child will be automatically enrolled in the Summer EBT/SUN Bucks program. You do not need to fill out an application. You will get a card in the mail, or the benefits will be added to your Ohio Direction Card. Most households with children that participate in Medicaid will also automatically be enrolled, depending on your household income when you applied for Medicaid.
Good news! If your child got SEBT last summer and qualifies again this year, their benefits will be loaded onto the same card. No need for a new one. If you need a replacement SUN Bucks card, please call 1-866-386-3071.
If you are not automatically enrolled and believe your child(ren) are eligible, you can apply for Summer EBT/SUN Bucks by filling out a simple application.
